September 2016: Huntley turns 6 months old!
Huntersville, NC: Amanda and Calvin welcomed their handsome little man Huntley six months ago. I had the pleasure of meeting the Teague family on a gorgeous night at Blythe Landing on Lake Norman. Ah I loveee Lake Norman! I jumped at the chance to shoot a family session during sunset. I closely watched the radar all day but come late afternoon the storms held off and the Lake was pure perfection. Anytime I have a chance to be waterside I am one happy gal! (put a super adorable family and baby in the mix… HEAVEN!)
Huntley’s Mom and I first meet at our first corporate jobs in Charlotte. She was a great cube/pod mate! We shared a passion for fashion and creativity so we had lots of fun chatting and making spread sheets “fun”. I loved hearing stories about her and her family from how Calvin proposed and their upcoming wedding plans. She left to pursue her own dreams (get it boss babe!) and through the magic of social media, I heard they were growing their sweet family! Then they welcomed to the world little love Huntley!
I seriously think the 6-9 month period may be some of my favorite baby months! The laughs, the smiles, the snuggles and cuddles.. ahh melt a parent’s heart! Babies really start to come into their own and their personalities continue to grow and grow. It can be difficult with teething and babies get frustrated on wanting to go go go but darn those dimples and baby laughs make you forget about all those tough times. I had a blast at Huntley’s 6 month session. He was such a happy boy and oh so photogenic. I mean look at this magazine cover worthy family :). I can tell that Huntley’s little smirk in the future is going to get in lots of trouble especially with his Mama. He already has her wrapped his finger 🙂 and we can’t forget about Dad! I love how he was already treating him as his little Man. Tossing him in the air and pulling him along in his wagon. Huntley is one VERY lucky boy to have such loving and caring parents.
Happy 6months Huntley! I can’t to see the great things you will do little boy!
