Toddler Girl Room Makeover
The past 2 months we’ve been working on transforming a spare music room into a little girls room. With a new baby on the way we figured the easiest transition would be to move our 3 year old into a much larger room with a new full bed and then little sister will take over the nursery once she arrives.
Avery loves anything PINK and girly (for now). I wanted to keep her new room sweet and simple knowing that in a few years she will want to change the decor. We also wanted to use the furniture we had been handed down, which include my husband’s childhood dresser and my niece’s bookshelf. Both received a little face lift with some new stain and white paint. Now a new little girl can use these furniture pieces to house her party dresses and hold her favorite books. (what a special thing!) I shopped around at my favorite (budget friendly) stores for the bedding, decor, and lighting. I am so happy with how her new big girl room turned out!
Our spare bedroom/music/junk room before it was transformed into a little girls room. And why did we think turquoise was a good paint choice? ahhh! It required numerous coats of baby pink paint to cover.
