Hello 3rd Trimester
Hard to believe that I’m now 30 weeks along and in the 3rd Trimester! I am SO ready to meet this little lady. I have no idea where the time has gone. Rewind back to when we found out we were expecting again I immediately started to panic about how things would change. Don’t get me wrong we were so thrilled to be growing our family but the realization that it wouldn’t be just the 3 of us anymore was tough to think about. We have such a great routine and thing going add a newborn to the mix is sightly terrifying. (but when is welcoming a new life to the world not a wee bit scary?!!). But here we are 10 weeks(ish) to go and it’s really starting to sink in that this little lady will be here before I know it!
This past weekend we moved our daughter to her new “big girl room”. She helped picked out the paint color in her new room and received some new exciting bedding for her new full size bed. We still have the final touches to add but hopefully this transition will go smoothly. Little sister is going to take over Avery’s nursery. Hopefully once she is here she won’t mind sharing her crib and nursery with her. Fingers crossed!
I thought it would be cute and nice for little sister to give her big sister a gift when she comes. I saw this jewelry box and thought this is a great keepsake gift. Avery is dying to be a big girl and act like her mama. She loves makeup, dressing up and wearing my jewelry. I think she is going to love this sweet little gift from her sister.
As for me I’m hanging in there and starting to feel the aches of walking around with this bump. Sleeping is getting tough (I guess nature’s way of prepping me for those middle of the night feedings) and I feel like I am waddling everywhere I go. The final countdown is on and nesting is starting to really set in. Next on the agenda are my upcoming sprinkles that my sweet friends are hosting for us. I can’t wait to shower this new little lady with so much love 🙂
Aren’t these the most precious items from Pottery Barn Kids?!! I can’t wait to finish little lady’s nursery and cuddle with her while using her new soft new blankets. 🙂

Kelly, I know I am your mil, so I may be prejudiced, but you look adorable, and Dad and I really love you so much! We are so thankful that you and Clark found each other. Can’t wait to meet the new little lady. I hope your last several weeks are easy as pie! We love you!
