Baby products I’m loving lately

Here we are a few months after baby #2 was born and I’d love to share what products I swear by this go around. We kept all the staple baby items (stroller, high chair, swing, bouncer, bassinet, and play mat) from when our first daughter was born 3 years ago. Not much has  changed in that department. I have realized that you don’t need much to keep a baby happy, don’t let the big box baby stores convince you otherwise!

Hatch Baby Rest night light //  This night light does it all! I wish I had this with my first born. You can control the color of the light, brightness and music or sound from your phone! I loved it for when we first got home from the hospital and had multiple middle of the night nursing sessions. I was still able to see while not disturbing my husband. Once we moved baby to her room I eventually used this in my toddlers room. It has a “toddler lock” and we plan on using the wake up alarm (you select a certain color and/or sound to say its ok to come out of her room.) Love this smart item!

Infant Optics baby monitor  //  We love this baby monitor! After having to ditch our first one (another brand)after a year (of course after the warranty was up). We bought this infant optic one off amazon. Then with baby #2 we were able to easily add a 2nd camera. The best feature about this camera and monitor is the customer service. We had an issue with the charging cord and were so helpful and happy to replace the unit, even though our warranty was 22 past due. So great!

Boppy lounger // This lounger was my best friend in the first few weeks after baby came home. It is perfect for baby to lounge in and cat nap in. My babe loved napping in this while i was close by folding laundry or washing the dishes. Love that its easily portable and not big and bulky like a swing and has more support for new babies than the traditional  boppy. Simple Wishes hands free bra //  OMG if you plan on breastfeeding and pumping this is a life saver! It has a velcro closure in the back to allow for the mamas changing sizes of the girls 🙂 easy to wash too!  I use this multiple times a day and lets my hands to be free to email/blog . Milk Snob Cover //  again this great for a nursing mama. I always keep this in my diaper bag. Great to cover up if you want to cover you and baby while nursing or pumping. Can be worn as a scarf and then used as a cover. They have tons of super cute prints. It also works as a car seat cover and when baby is bigger a cover for shopping cart seats. It’s so soft has great stretch in the fabric.

Solly Baby wrap //  So happy fellow mamas of more than one suggested this wrap to me. It’s great for fresh new babes keeps them nice and cozy. I loved wearing the new babe while you run around and chasing her older sister. The fabrics are so soft and the prints and colors are precious.  Highly recommend for newborns.

Spectra breast pump //  After using the Medela pump for my 1st I decided to try the Spectra for baby #2. This pump rocks!! quiter, automatic shut off, a night light ( best thing I never knew I needed), and fits avent bottles! YES! extra parts are also on amazon prime 🙂

Rock and Play // This has been my favorite portable “seat” for babe. It easily folds up, perfect for traveling. It came on a few beach trips with us. Easily moves from room to room. which is great for when Mom needs a few minutes to shower, cook, or fold laundry. Keeps baby nice and cozy 🙂
