Busy Bags for Big Sister and Brothers

I am officially less than a month away from my due date with our 2nd little lady. I have been busy working on the new baby things as well as making sure our toddler handles the transition as smooth as possible. She has been super excited for her new baby sister and has been handling the adjustments we’ve made at home like a champion. She is so proud and happy for all of baby Sister’s new gifts and items. The next transition to tackle is when we head to the hospital and welcome the new baby into the world. We want to make sure we are thinking of her while we are away.

My toddler will be staying with family when head to the hospital for little ones grand entrance. Although we have left her for overnight trips before this time we want to leave the grandparents with some extra activities and goodies to help while we are away. I’m also hoping these gifts help with any waiting room boredom. Plus you never know when you will need some bribing leverage when it comes to a three year old.

For each day we plan to be away I made a busy bag/gift for our daughter. Everyday she will open a new bag. I also included a little note from Mom & Dad to let her know we are thinking of her. Most of the items are games or crafting items to hopefully get her excited and keep her busy for more than 5 minutes. 🙂
