Welcome to Kelly Bain Blog!

Hey Friends! There has been so many changes happening in our in our little family lately, why not throw one more into the mix! I’ve decided to merge my personal and business life into one brand. So say HELLO to Kelly Bain Photography & Blog ! I’ll still be working with families and new babies taking their portraits but will also be sharing more lifestyle content on the blog.

I took the leap of faith and opened my little photography business 2 years ago. Our family at the time had lots going on. (mainly adjusting to becoming new parents). I begged friends to let me take photos for them, for practice and build a portfolio. Through lots of workshops and classes and I pushed myself and my business and keep plugging away at it. I am so proud of how far it’s come and continues to grow. I’ve so been so blessed to work with the most amazing clients.

I will say during this time its been hard to separate my personal life from my business self. I’ve been encouraged by industry leaders to keep it  separate and to others have said to build your brand around yourself. Recently I’ve decided to add more of my day to to day life and create more blog content around motherhood, family, and all the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur. Reality is there is only one me and why should I continue to only share part of my life. As scary has it is to open up I am really looking forward to stepping out of my shell.

So with that said get ready for more lifestyle content coming your way! This will include more family, fashion, health, and motherhood posts. As a working mother I want to share my wins (and fails) and recommendations to all my modern mamas. Let’s build a community and lift each other up. Don’t worry you will still see images of sweet and adorable babies and families from their portrait sessions! I also plan on adding (way more) daily photography tips for taking better photos. Which could be of your kiddos or for your business. Photography will always be my main love! and creative outlet!
