Emma Grace turned 1 recently and I was thrilled when her Mom and Dad, Matthew and Kendall reached out to me for a family session! Matthew and I go way back. We both were lucky enough to be Best Man and Maid of Honor in his brother and my best friend’s wedding. Since then we have played on numerous kickball and flag football teams together, attended friends kids birthday parties, and all those exciting events that come along with starting a family. When I met his wife Kendall I thought wow what a fun, bubbly person. They make a great pair and we always have a great time when hang out 🙂

As our group of friends continue to grow their families it is so fun to see these little ones flourish and develop their own personalities. Sweet Emma Grace definitely has distinctive traits from both of her parents. Her big smile and laugh reminds me of her Dad so much! There is so much love for life in their big grins. Your mood can change in an instant when you hear her giggle and see that big smile! During the session it was nice to see cuddle with her Mom. I could tell after all the fun and games she is a big snuggle bug and enjoys to relax and take it easy. She really enjoys spending time with family and her loved ones just like her Mama!

During Emma Grace’s session she was happy! Sometimes with toddlers you never know what kind of mood they have in front of the camera. She loved the camera and was so photogenic! She loved being tossed in the air by Matt (he is totally a “fun” Dad!) and then the sweet, tender, quite moments she had with Kendall. You can tell her parents are doing something right and raising one lovely little sweetie pie! Emma Grace is one VERY cherished little girl and I was honored to capture her 12 month old portraits. I cant wait to watch her grow and see what the world has in store for you sweet little one!
